Member Review Board:
All AIESEC Exchange applicants are required to pass a review board before going on exchange. The purpose of the review board is to make sure that the applicants will be good quality employees to they’re employers abroad. Applicants will be judged by a panel consisting of an external (an active employee in an organisation) and an AIESEC Alumni. Members will required to pay $50 for the MRB fee and the rest of their exchange fee within a week after they have passed MRB. (For example if your exchange fee is $550, you pay $50 before MRB and $500 after that). The $50 for MRB is non-refundable. You can re-sit MRB if you do not pass.
Register on the system:
Now you have passed MRB and ready to go on exchange. We will conduct a session where we will help you get registered on our exchange system. If you were going on one of our projects then you will be matched to a job once we get your registered. If you were not going on one of our projects you will have to search through our database and apply for a position.
Matching:
For those going on our Exchange projects you do not have to worry about this step. For those who are not, you will be searching our database for a position that you are interested in. For every form that is listed on our database there is a contact called the “TN manager”, you will send an email to the TN manager expressing your interest in the position and the tn manager will let you know if you are qualified for the job. During this process you will probably be required to have an interview over Skype or they will call you. There may be cases where the TN Manager does not reply you, either move on and look for other jobs or you can try sending another email to him/her.
Realisation:
You have now matched yourself, so go buy your ticket get your visa and have the time of your life. Before you leave we will try organise a party for you, let us know what you will like to do. If there is any help or assistance you need before you leave please do not hesitate to contact us or your Tn Manager (if it is something you need from them).
